Japanese automakers dominate the Philippine International Motor Show 2026, with a strong emphasis on electrified mobility, showcasing BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) and HEVs (Hybrid Electric Vehicles).

The number of Chinese car brands is just 7, fewer than the number compared to the Bangkok International Motor Show 2026.

To gain a competitive advantage, Korean carmakers launched their new models with breakthrough designs.

Tesla stood out as the only automaker at the exhibition with a fundamentally different approach from its competitors. This distinction stems from its AI-driven ecosystem, which extends far beyond the vehicle itself.
With Grok AI integrated directly into the vehicle’s operating system, users can interact naturally with the car, ask questions, issue commands, and receive accurate, context-aware responses in real time. This creates a more intuitive and intelligent user experience compared to traditional in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Leveraging a powerful ecosystem that spans artificial intelligence, software, energy, and mobility, Tesla continues to redefine the electric vehicle landscape on its own terms. At the center of this strategy is its Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, which showcases the company’s vision for autonomous transportation and highlights its leadership in next-generation mobility innovation.

PIMS 2026 showcased the future of mobility through innovation, electrification, and sustainable automotive technologies. From exciting vehicle launches to next-generation mobility solutions, the event highlighted how the industry is evolving to meet changing consumer and environmental demands. As the show comes to a close, PIMS 2026 leaves a clear message: the future of driving is smarter, cleaner, and more connected than ever.
